Im really struggling tonight but ive decided to write 5 things im grateful for.

Then you do the same.

1: my dad and brother

2: My rabbit and hamster and canaries

3: Having my own flat

4: This website

5: God

1: My Cat Muffin - shes the best!

2: My baby nephew - Makes me smile.

3: My bed - my fav place.

4: Shops - I love to shop!

5: Coffee - always there when i need it.

1..my sons, granddaughter and hubby

2..my jack russell molly

3..my physical health, even tho ive put on 3-4 stone in the last year!! i llurrvve that my boobs have got bigger :)

4..having a home

5..everything that makes me smile

1- Diet Coke

2- That Wispa chocolate bars have been brought back

3- Having friends (not that I have many, but the ones I do have I appreciate more than they know)

4- My animals

5- My Flat, I appreciate it so much more because I came very close to losing it!

Okay here it goes, (I always want to join in these exercises but go blank, feeling like I must just be incredibly self centered).

1. My Mom - for always doing what she can to be there for me, especially since she doesn't know I have BPD.

2. Dave - for an ex he is pretty supportive and sincerely cares about me and wants me to do better (I think I am still in love).

3. Becky - Probably the one friend left that calls me of her own choice.

4. My Boss - I am really grateful to him for taking me on part time, especially since the industry seems to frown on part time work, this has really helped to boost my self esteem faster than any self help book possibly could.

5. My Support Network - Dr., T, DBT Group, and BPD World, without all these people pulling for me, I wouldn't be here typing today.

That wasn't near as tough as I was making it out to be, lol. I think it was an important post for me to participate in, thanks for starting the thread.

1. My mom who says she is proud of me when I make progress in getting better and who reminds me I've made progress when I lose hope. She tells me what I'm doing right and warns me about where her boundaries are.

2. My brother (of my soul) who I has giving me a goal.

3. Defiant songs that say, "yes, life is friggin hard, but we're going to live anyway. We're going to fight for our lives anyway."

4. My friend Courtney for being honest with me.

5. Nick for showing me what I'm doing wrong and for showing me there are good things about myself.

1. My parents who have always been there despite their own problems..

2. My kids being healthy and energetic

3. Having able to go to Sweden and stan more than 11 hours on a plane when I am scared to death of heights-

4. This site indeed

5. Chocolates, Cakes and sweets! (and clonazepam)

1. My parents - For always leaving the door open when I come back from my impulsive moves to other cities.

2. My friends - The few I do have accept me despite my flaws.

3. My two sisters - For making me feel less crazy by being loopy themselves.

4. My writing talent - It's been my saviour. I hope to be published one day.

5. Music - It's been the only thing that makes me feel something when I'm otherwise numb.

i'm grateful for

my friends, i really dont know what i would do without them

my boyfriend Mart, he knows how to make me feel better by givin me a cuddle

my soon to be ex husband who i get along better with now since we seperated!

my ability to learn new things, when i am well enough to, i love to learn.

my adorable cat Bailey, who makes me laugh so much, he's going through the terrible two's and has discovered the knack of playing me and my ex off against each other to get extra sweetie's and cuddles!!!

My Daughter - She is a warrrior with a great heart, she was at athletic competitions and she one 2 medals :D but the best thing is that when she saw one of her friends who she protects a lot was crying cus she hadnt been succesfull compeating, she ran and gave one of her medals to her.

My parents as always cus they could have send me to hell a long time ago

My son is so gifted in so many ways and so sociable unlike his father :)

My new prospect- He seems to be very interested in understanding ab BPD, that will help the relationship a lot if we get to have one.

This forum- I feel so understoo here :)

1. My physical health

2. My mother, my father and my sister, for each of them--although pain they have caused at times--have taught me more about my life.

3. My therapist who obviously came into my life for a reason years ago and has helped (most of the time) through thick and thin...even after I tried to overdose, she was still there! Sweet! :P

4. Beautiful things in the world, fun things, rain showers, shopping, coffee houses, all the things I like. My general fun times I have everyday!

5. Music, for without it, I would not have been able to heal as quickly I bet.

1. My friends- I would not be here without their support

2. My home- its my sanctuary where i can shut the world out when I want to.

3. My cats- they are great comfort and fab to snuggle up with!

4. My mum and sister- they're fab most of the time!

5. For surviving this far!!!
