The way to eradicate OCD: revelation by clothes!

There is a story: a wild man was caught by human. Human wanted to change him to be a nomal man. Therefore, they cleaned him up and let him wear a suit of new clothes! The wild man got trouble from that. He was not used to the clothes. He felt uncomfortable by wearing that. He cannot walk and do anything. He felt strange because of the clothes. He triped over by the clothes. People all laughed at him. The wild man thought the clothes was a burden and abnormal, so he tried to get rid of it. He took medicine, hypnogenesis and cognitive behavior therapy. He tried to eliminate it but failed. The clothes was still with him. The more he wanted to eliminate it the more uncomfortable he felt. The more he felt uncomfortable the more he wanted to eliminate. Slowly it become a vicious circle. Finally, he gave up life also. He started to look for more ways. He decided to go for his life after recovery. This way realy affect his life. Therefore, he decided to enjoy his life just like a normal people. He visited many doctors. He hoped there was a highly skilled doctor can tell him the way to get away the strange clothes. He search for more therapies, such as spirit analytical method, Morita therapy, buddhism and taoism therapy, theotherapy, etc. After more than ten years, the clothes was still there. He dreamed to take it off.

Until one day, he attended a exequies. He fund people wear it until his death! He gave up. He burned all the psychological books which teached him how to get rid of it, after he went home. He threw away all the telephone numbers from doctors. First time, he left his bed and walked out his dark house. He started to learn how to live. He became very calm and his faith is very simple. He thought that he could not come to the world without any purpose. He did not try to cure. He still felt uncomfortable and triped over. People still laughed at him. He felt calm like a mirror from his heart even though the symptoms was still there. He didn't feel angry and never complain. He didn't conflict and fight with himself. He did not repulse it and learnt to accept it.

His life was continue. Every day past slowly. Every thing changed quietly. There was no more laugh. He practiced again and again until he can walk better and triped over lesser. He also can do things better. After 1year, 2 years, he suddenly noticed that he was fine already! He felt so surprise. He could not believe he has recovered. It was a miracle! He didn't felt any uncomfortable or affect by wearing that. He looked like a normal people. During several months, he was so busy and life was full of enrichment. He even forgot about the clothes. He recalled his 2 years¡¯ life and felt it was like a dream. He recovered from OCD. (A clothes is a material. It still occur even you forget about it. OCD is a intangible psychological phenomenon. If you forget about it, it will disappear.)

Attention: during these years, I try to get rid of idleness. I clear up my understanding of neurosis systemly. I try to use the story to explain what is OCD. I hope to hear some useful opinions and ideas from you. This article may help and inspire some friends who are troubled by neurosis, when they want to save themselves. First of all, I¡¯d like to thank those pioneers. Without them, I cannot rocover today and write this article. The experience of me is the collection from them. Articles can only explain some commen things. It cannot replace real treatment. There are some advices for your reference within this article.

Essence of mental trouble

One of the essence of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is a strong conflict and fight from people¡¯s heart. Actually, the essence of people¡¯s worry are all the strong conflict and fight against the real world. This is the only source for neurosis to maintain. When the war in people¡¯s heart can be finished, it will be the real start to end neurosis. It is what east ancient philosopher said ¡°acceptance¡±. There is no way. No matter you get social phobia, OCD, anxiety or depression; no matter you are suspect, stutterer, insomnia, afraid of crazy, gluttony or anorexia, there is no way to get rid of that. The only way is to accept the truth; put down the weapon; don't fight against it; slowly avoid repulsion; don't try to eliminate it; try to used to it. Gradually, you will learn not to conflict and fight with your symptoms again. At that time, you will recover.

For me, memory problems perhaps caused by brief absences, plus the overload that results from the intensity involved in initiating a new activity, lead me to perseverate on one thing or another from time to time. I find logic my best friend in figuring out what to do.
