Obsessive Thoughts

Hello all. This is my first post on Mentalhealth-world and I would like to say I am excited to chat with everyone on here!.

I would like to start of by saying I suffer from Depersonalization as well as Obsessiveness. I feel like my mind is always racing. Iwill think of something I would

like to do but suddenly a memorie of DP comes into my mind and I link the two together and say I cannot do it for I will go crazy and it

will never go away. I realize this is irrational but in the moment it is almost impossible to rid my mind of the thought. It scares me so much. I have started writing a thought journal where I challenge my negative thoughts and try to work them out in writing. Realize these thoughts are CONSTANT. Deciding whether or not I can watch tv because I will go nuts. Even posting now and deciding what words to use. Somehow I feel this forum is ok because it will help me. What are some stratagies that you guys would recommend?
