Kitsune
Well done Sah for doing all that you needed to do, especially when you may felt more like doing nothing! Great job Xya for getting your work done and being able to finally get rid of the backlog! Brilliant work Ruff, for trying something new, getting involved and finding one of your strengths! Thanks John for praising in the praise room! Saharah Blue
Lily-Bee
Am going through hard but managing, doing all the right things. katahnya
Yesterday I managed to get my daughter in to school by myself getting the bus in and back home again. Today I have gone onto uni campus - even if it is just having a coffee. Pye Dog
Saharah Blue
Well done for getting yourself out there, helping those you care about and taking it in baby steps, it is exactly the way to move forward.
artemis84
I just managed to get out on my first run in about 2 months, have been finding excuses for ages but finally did it!! Yay! Lily-Bee
That is so good Artemis, that mustve been hard to get yourself to do it! I made appointment with new friend eventhough it makes me nervous Pye Dog
gandalftheginge
That's great Lily! I think with these things, being nervous is a good sign in a way, it shows it's important to you and that it would mean a lot if it went well. I'm currently painting and have done so for the last two days Pye Dog
artemis84
Great Ash, good work! This week I have covered for the class teacher at work in a supply teacher capacity. Yesterday I did all morning and today I did all day. It is the first time I have done whole class teaching in 5 years! (Since I became ill I returned to work as a teaching assistant instead.) It was with the class I work in anyway but it marks a big step for me
Shinyshine
Congrats to artemis84, my friend is doing a teaching degree so I've heard how nerve-wracking it can be to teach. I started going to rock climbing club - I've wanted to do it since I started uni nearly 3 years ago but my anxiety/depression/etc has always stopped me. It took a lot of nerves and a big packet of cookies afterwards as a reward but I'm really proud of myself for once. Turns out I'm pretty good at clinging to walls, too! Also ta to johnbooth for suggesting I write letters to people in my diary to help get my emotions out there and in order. I'm still doing it and addressing a number of people, it really does help. Kitsune
Well done Ash, Artemis and Shinyshine! Sometimes when you feel down it can be hard to focus on anything or feel like going out and doing new or challenging things, so good on you all for pushing your comfort zone a bit. Hope that you guys feel proud of yourselves and can acknowledge what you have achieved : ) Today I did the dry run of the perfromance, the project leaders say I was spot on with my performance and managed to do something very hard. Then the group leader chose me to go in her car with her and to go to the different areas and help. It was good having a chat and I didn't let my feeling of social awkwardness overwhelm me. I was worried that sometimes I turned the convo towards me too much and that I was bragging or perhaps my tales seemed outlandish. am trying not to overanalyse and just take it as a good thing. She even hugged me, and that was really nice... even though we bumped heads : S Awkwardness ftw. I'm also proud I'm actually acknowledging this good thing, rather than blowing it off and letting myself forget!
lalissa
Wow Kitsune!! That sounds like a whole ton of things to praise you for, WELL DONE!! I helped out a friend with a project last night even though i was feeling like staying at home and in my comfort zone, we had a good laugh and i came home smiling and tired Saharah Blue
Kitsune
Well done Lalissa, glad to hear it went well and you got something good out of it : ) Today I managed to do stuff and braved the dentist even though I felt like hiding from the world. Shinyshine
Gefeliciteerd lily-bee! (is that right?) Doing something despite your MH obstacles is huge. Today I emailed two potential therapists, as I decided to try and change what it is I don't like about my life.
lonelyheartemma
I wrote to my therapist and told him off (in a nice way I hope) for arranging an appointment with my mum instead of with me.
lonelyheartemma
I cooked my first ever fry-up and didn't spend hours afterwards worrying that I'd poisoned myself. It tasted pretty good. As it was late (I was watching the FA Cup final) I considered making an omelette instead but I decided to go for the fry-up. mr potato and Kitsune

Saharah Blue
Proud of myself for being willing to put myself to bed when I was in crisis and take a PRN despite not wanting the side effects.
