I'll never leave you,

you're a part of me.

I can't move on or forget,

anymore than I couldn't breathe.

There are no words

to say how I feel.

You're the one person

I could never hurt &

yet I did.

I can't do this;

all my strength is pretence,

I'm killing me slowly.

I can't change what happened,

I'd give you the world in a bow.

Nothing says I love you like

a hundred million dead.

This isn't goodbye,

I won't do that but

life is change &

change is killing me.

One heart beats as two

& words are inadequate.

You've been everyone

& still are.

You are me &

I can't say goodbye.

But I won't wait,

you outgrew that.

I won't be back &

I'll not be hurt again.

It's time to stop the world.

It's time to go home.
