I have to admit I am totally confused how your intro post ended up in the 'noticeboard' section, as we are all unable to post in there,

and also unable to reply

 

so I have started this here, so people can support you and welcome you

 

I also have had bpd for a lifetime but was not diagnosed until my 40's

I brought up two children - without that diagnosis -

I strongly advise you to speak to any mh support you have - maybe the psychologist that ran your STEPPS course

and explain to them what is happening re. you children and get them to support you and hopefully they can write to social services

 

a mh diagnosis does NOT mean we cannot be good parents

just as there are very many totally shit parents out there with no mh issues at all!!
