Lily-Bee
Hi sweet members Wonder if you might have some tips for me or a good book or whatever. I have a boyfriend which is recent, it is going very well. He stays with me the weekends and is in another town where lives and worls during the week. In the weekends Im fine as I feel how crazy he is about me but during the week I worry obsessively about losing him. He is great its just me and my fears. Looking for tips on how to deal with getting stuck in my head like that. Lily
b0bulat0r
Hi Lily I'm glad you have found someone special and that he cares for you, I am crap at relationships myself so most likely not the best to give advice, I think keeping busy with a hobby during the week is the best thing, my sister is in a relationship with a guy who is a 2 hour drive away, she doesn't see him as much as she would like, but the time they do spend together is precious to her, she spends her week doing a number of sports and hobbies that keep her busy and occupied so she doesn't think about it as much, it also means they don't smother each other either as they have their own independent hobbies and interests and the time apart is good for them to have "me time" then they enjoy the time together more, i guess I'm saying maybe see it as a positive at the moment that you spend that time apart, it mights the time you spend together more magical and actually can help make a relationship stronger, I wish you all the best
