I always feel better if I know I have something on the horizon to look forward to, however small.  I thought it might cheer us up to post one or more things that we are looking forward to.  You can do it each week or as often as you like.


I'll start:

Cuddle time with my wife tonight

Tomorrow's lunch - I like tuna

Saturday's 5 mile walk

Im looking forward to;

- Hugging boyfriend again this weekend

-Reading this book I have waiting

-Watching new teen mom episodes

-The new coloring for adults book I have coming tomorrow, so calming to just sit and color

Having tomorrow off work - not needing to get up early and being able to enjoy breakfast with my wife

Going to see a play with my sister and my niece where they have built a replica submarine we get to go in and we use headsets to hear the instructions, it's going to be great.

Going to see Blade Runner at the cinema with bf and friends this evening.

  • listening to the radio at work
  • doing some strategy/thinking jobs at work
  • curry tonight with poppadoms
  • planning Saturday's walk - I am taking a stroll on my own in Staffordshire
  • watching Stonemouth on BBC2 tonight
  • watching Humans on Channel 4 on Sunday

Hello, this is a great idea, I would like to join in. It made me feel good just to read all your joys in life!!!

I am looking forward to:-

Eating chocolate muffins with my kids when they come home from school ( I made them this morning).

Starting new course on 17th September.

Having my hair cut on Friday

  • Tonight's food (pizza)
  • Having some pomegranate afterwards ... I've not had that since I was a child.
  • Hearing the result of the job interview I had today.
  • Watching the rest of the youtube I am currently on - its about an American who smuggled drugs through the USSR during the cold war (why??!!??!!)
  • Doing some programming on my computer - I currently have a number puzzle I want to solve.

Meeting with a good friend today and walking together on beach

My daughter's birthday party tomorrow, the kids and playing mini golf

Starting my new job for real next week (have been preparing at home only) leading 2 kids church activity groups twice a week.
