starrbarr40
So I found this website maybe about 12 years ago and felt it helped a lot but got lost in life and now I am back. I am about to start DBT therapy for my BPD and am kinda scared about it. I don't know why because I am all for the change and ready to start thinking a different way. Just anxious I guess. Has anyone else done DBT?
Saharah Blue
I have done the whole DBT course, I found the group thing hard, but the lessons part a safe way to participate. It has helped me immensely, I am functioning in a high way again as a result. What sort of concerns do you have?
totalwar
I did DBT I found it very useful but it was only a short course found out later could be up to year and half long.you do one to one work and group work.mindfulness seems to big part of it also ways of thinking of doing things differently.eg if you self harm thinking of different ways of dealing with to get out of that pattern of behaviour. Here a link below explaining about what DBT about. https://psychcentral.com/lib/an-overview-of-dialectical-behavior-therapy/
