    Update On Me

Hi Jades, I'm 30 weeks pregnant myself, due mid July. With my first pregnancy, i had the same pelvic problems as you, it's called Symphasis Pubic Dysfunction and it was absolute agony. So i can feel your pain, as it has returned with this pregnancy, just not as intensely. last time round i had physiotherapy and wore a support, the best thing is that it goes away as soon as you give birth. Yay! All you can do is try and rest. Stay off your feet and sit down as often as you can. Otherwise, try and do things that reduce the pain, such as when you get out of bed, swing both legs over the side at the same time and stand up, rather than doing one leg at a time, sit on th edge of the bed when putting your pants on. Avoid doing anything that requires you to separate your legs as much as possible. Going up and down stairs hurts a lot, so try and avoid them! And make sure you do your pelvic floor exercises! And empty your bladder as often as you can because having a full bladder puts more pressure on the pelvis, and makes the pain more intense. Other than that, i hope you're doing ok. xx

DonĀ“t really like the idea of reputation points, Josh. To me as BPD it is too much like labeling - and maybe even discriminating. Its my personal problem, but certain flashbacks crashed down on me when I saw/read it.
