Head seems to be bursting with poems right now.... Empty It is not the harsh winds upon our bodies, Not the rain relentlessly lashing our backs. Nor the rough stones beneath our feet, That makes this so unbearable. I hardly wince as they ravage my body, With their punitive forces of nature. The rain that falls to the ground, Still nourishes the ground in it's turn. The wind can blow and batter me, But it can never make me fall. The stones may break my skin, Yet new skin always grows. Let them do their worst, use all their might, For I would rather spend and eternity - with them as my only companions; than meet with disapproval in your eyes.
