Since I love a wee hug when I'm not feeling too great and when I'm happy I love to give out hugs, I just love hugs... So I've started a Hug Bank, the way it works is if you are happy and want to share a hug then you deposit a hug, if you are in need of a hug then come on in and take one, there's plenty to go round. Triggers are often mentioned on these forums and people frequently request that trigger notices are made clear. The issue with this is none of us know exactly what may trigger someone or why. This is a mental health forum and people cannot be expected to label each of their posts with ‘trigger’ for the fear it may spark a response in someone. In knowing the likely content of such a forum and the background of many people who suffer with mental health issues caution should be taken when viewing any topic/post. Sadly triggers and their effects are the responsibility of the person and to be worked through however you feel it appropriate. This is not to say that people should stop labelling their posts as potentially triggering (Just that its not compulsory) just a note to clarify the position of this forum.

that is awful although we can see who does give us these rep points so i think it would be worth while if it is was unlimited (especially for Kitty ) but whoever abuses the system then they could just have the limit set on their account.

Yes, this is when I first started using my breadgun, against the points terrorists. One person went through lots of my posts and I ended up with such a large minus point I reported them and then shot them with my lemon curd covered napalm bread gun. Now I just sleep with it below my pillow every night. I am actually thinking of giving my breadgun a name.

Indeed no one truly knows what triggers one person and can be completely unconnected. All these fluffy beautiful pictures of cats remind me of the awfulness of having to put my babies up for adoption but it is my problem and my responsibility to learn how to cope. Watching the news can be a trigger but the country doesn't pull the plug on tv just because it triggers people. I think the position of Josh and the forum is right on this one. We all have to learn to deal with triggers as an important part of our recovery. Hugs to all who have felt triggered in the past.... we can get through this together xxx

is it just me or do other members keep running out of points to give? I seem to run out all the time can I get more and how many am I using? I really like the points as you can sort of reply without replying and it is a cool way of saying something is good or not often bad. I never seem to have enough or if i could see how many i have left sometimes i wish i hadn't given one because i find a better post. So can i hav more points to use please and why is it not unlimited?Kitty.
