Somebody I respect very much was being shouted at today when he was trying to walk away from a very difficult situation, Something deep inside me took over and I stood up to a person in much more of a position of authority than me to tell them they were WAY out of line, they switched their shouting to me but I stood my ground calmly without lashing out until they backed down and later appologised to my friend. This was a big achievement for me by A. coming out of my shell and B. managing to keep conrtol over my temper and the situation. today was a good day and will be rembered by alot of different people for their own good reasons.

I went shopping and bought:

  • A main meal for all 4 of us (so Sarah does not have to shop tomorrow).
  • A Ben 10 storage box. Leo's room is a tip and tonight I am going to encourage him and help him to put some of the stuff on the floor into the box. He loves Ben 10 so hopefully the nice box will encourage him.
  • A toilet roll stand and a toilet roll holder. Ours broke and for years we've had toilet rolls all over the bathroom floor. But I've screwed the toilet roll holder so I'm hoping it will be tidier now.

I met my mother in law to walk the dogs. Think its the first time Ive left the house for about a week so yay for me!!

Some stupid bloke had a go at me for having the dog off lead in the woods!!! But I defended myself :P and got home without having a panic attack.

Still early, but so far have managed to stay calm and keep a steady, even, non-threatening tone in my voice when talking to my son.

He has been quite a handful this morning, hitting, biting, kicking, screaming, growling, dragging all his toys out and littering them across the floor, piling books up behind door which prevents it from being opened...

Oh, and i accepted a compliment, GRACEFULLY!!! YAY FOR ME! But my goodness! I felt so awkward! I still did it though!!!

xxxxx
