Name One Good Thing You Did Today?

I like this...

I went on retreat at the weekend and spent time being still and quiet and prayerful.

I made a decision - to stay working part time for the moment. (don't/can't do decisions....)

I did some revision for my exam today.

I started my audit.

I ate.

I read this thread and starting thinking that maybe I should do this every day!

I looked after a student applying for med school today.

I sorted out my audit.

I saw the guy I really really like and almost didn't panic!

  • 2 weeks later...

I had a really lousey day.

But I did get up and dressed. Ate - eventually. Went to IKEA with a friend who has been looking after me most of the weekend. Have showered, washed my hair and taken my meds.

And I did not SH. I wanted to, badly - and guess in some ways I still do. But I haven't.

Don't know if that counts as my one good thing for the day - thus far.

I built up the courage and called my creditors... all of them... bad situation but no longer burying myhead in the sand. very happy this thread is here to remind all us good people out there that we DO acheive good things, no matter how small, it's still valid!!

I've got through two days at work and not cried whilst I was there.

Now I'm watching old episodes of Cold Feet with my flatmate and still not crying!

I went to trampolining and my coach said my baranis (half twisting front somersaults) were "not that bad" - very high praise!

Today I brought my-self some new boots that I have been wanting for ages :)

I've had no spare money for so long but finally I had some for my-self.

I love my boots! :)

I did piked baranis (piked half twisting front somersaults) in the trampoline without a mat by myself.

I arranged to look at a room near where my friend is moving to so I can move out of the hospital and still get to work!

;)

Faced a problem rather than just go on ignoring it pretending everything is OK when I am screaming and crying inside...
