I had no side effects and it worked superbly until i reached maximum dosage level. I didnt feel much in the first week, but then started to feel alot more "stable". Then I must have become accustomed to it - and it wasnt enough for me. But my gp at the time was very positive about it, and In my opinion it was a good medication. sarah83 Posted March 25, 2010 Report Share Posted March 25, 2010 ive been on citalopram for about 8 years and its done a good job.it didnt cure me but reduced my depression by 80-90%.just recently i have sunk very deep back into the black hole that is depression.i'm not sure if the tablets have stopped working or if i would have relapsed anyway i would advice anyone to try them as they worked wonders for me after trying 6 other antidepressants i wash you luck on themxxx Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
