bena.baby
It's not pathetic at all, a lot of people struggle to lose weight/resist chocolate or other treats.
walker
well 2 weeks = no chocolate and no bingeing (have to resort to hot choc once or twice a day to cope) have lost around 7-8 pounds the struggle is hourly not sure how long we will keep this up and the days when there is no weight loss we get SO angry and want to smash everything in sight and scream the place down and stuff our face off (oh well guess thats feeling something !!) anyway thought you might be interested xx
jillv
That is a really fantastic acievement. I wish I could do the same. I won't even have scales in the house! It might be a good idea to consider only weighing yourself once a week if you can manage that. Progress will be more noticeable then.
bena.baby
Wow, that's great! Well done. Agree with kalico that once a week is probably best for weighing, less frustrating that way. Can you allow yourself chocolate sometimes? Sometimes I think that if you totally cut something out it's harder to keep it up. Keep going, you can do this x
bibiddi
Walker, I had not seen this thread. Eating properly is a good sign. I share the fight to do it. I love the idea of hot chocolate, instead of a bar of choccie.Very useful.
walker
thankyou SO much for being so kind and supportive weighing once a week is not an option can cope if if stays same a bit but if (when) it goes up which is inevitable - it totally screws us up see this is the trouble its is not really 'healthy' as we obsess about food more than ever - think about it all day laughably there is more sugar in the hot choc than in a wispa !! but ofcourse not the fat - and no we cant just have a bit of cocolate we have stashes round the house which we are avoiding if we start we will find it very very hard to stop yes we are pleased we have done this but it is such a struggle
bena.baby
I think you're doing great and you clearly know what your limits are and that's good. Hot choc is better for you than choc choc, also since it's mainly water I guess.
