Liane0112
So I have been in pretreatment for dbt for nearly four months now. I start full dbt next week. I have been doing my pretreatment with a fantastic support worker who I have really learnt to trust. She told me two weeks ago she was leaving and that that would be my last session. I was gutted to say the least. So tomorrow is my first session with my new support worker who I have only met once. I am so nervous and scared that I am not going to get on with her as well as the other lady. How do I stop this getting out of control.
bluemoon5
by talking about it, as you have started here. The new person, as they are part of the dbt team will understand how you are dealing with loss and coping with such a big change. talk to her it will be ok. oh and starting dbt full time that's a biggy too remember you are amazing to be doing this, feeling vulnerable when we are already so vulnerable go girl xxx PS doing something similar to you so can really understand how nervous you are x stay safe x

lonelyheartemma
I hope it went ok Liane. It's very difficult when people leave and they so often give almost no notice.
