Saying Sorry

Recommended Posts

MUSINGS ...... on a hot humid headaching afternoon somewhere in Asia.

Saying sorry...means so many different things to so many people.

What does it mean to me? 34 years. People owe me, I owe people.

Would it make a difference? To them? To me?

To Me From Them......NO.DIFFERENCE.

Sorry wouldnt have taken away the hurt, the pain, the embaressment, the moment, the memories.

Would sorry have made me better able to manage it? I doubt so.

Fact is, it happened. I am just human. And forgiving, yes, is really divine.

Forgeting? Gosh, I think I may have to go ECT for that!

We all know, time doesnt heal, it numbs. The scar is still there.

The brokeness. without the despair perhaps.

From Me to Them ... I wouldnt know would I?

In the first place, most of the time,. I wouldnt have done it intentionally (like they did me???)....in any case, sorry doesnt turn back the clock. If it does, I AM SORRY.

Whats that above? I wonder if it makes sense.

Dear Budgie, It seemed to me you hit the nail on the head. Ive often thought that I must been much more sensitive than most other people because its often seemed so much easier for others to get over upset than it has been for me. When I am hurt, I get really really screwed up whereas most other people seem to bounce back much more quickly. Because of this, it seems that it is actually much harder to forgive an forget because I seem to get crucified and others seem to just brush the hurt off. Anyway I liked your poem and this was what I understood from part of it at least. Best Wishes, Raiinbowlady
