Perfect, shining adolescent Roseleaf princess breaks the mold. Little woman hides a secret beneath the smallish newfound breast Keeps a wounded child all covered red and purple-pinkish flesh Little bird, in darkness dying hides the scars from prying eyes Makes two from one to be less lonely The ever-voice, the star, her guide. Little girl, alone and angry Getting rid of all she is Twisting until there is nothing Charlie found her, she is his The paper doll, she once was mine We claimed each other from the start I left her lonely on the doorstep Crying out-I broke her heart. Now she sucks the dust up, lung-ward My memory child, with toes all curled- She fills herself until she’s empty- Little girl in a little world.
