velouria Posted October 6, 2004 Author Report Share Posted October 6, 2004 okay- today i went to my favorite writing spot and squeezed out the rest of the song. it sounds like it should be a country song, but (LOL) I HATE country music!! i guess i'll have to think about the music portion later. remember, this still needs to be edited. today i found you hiding underneath my chilly skin. and laughed against the heartache of the hole where you have been as the tears slid down to stain the pillow where you used to lay i heard you for a moment whisper baby, it's okay (chorus) could it be i'm running blindly dow a highway built for pain and will i ever in my lifetime feel your fire in me again are you just as lost as i am missing me as i miss you or is ache a one-way street i walk on, living under blue today? you left your boots in my closet and your keys are on my shelf it's so hard to live without you when i'm living with myself i know you loved me fully and i hurt you with my lies so i guess that when you left it should have come as no surprise. (chorus) (bridge) i miss you....... how could i have been so wrong? i love you......... and the silence just goes on how did i turn so fast away from the sun when i knew that you were my only one (3rd verse) I hear your heartbeat all around me making life seem so unreal and i rush to solve the riddle of a heart that's made of steel but i just don't think i'll ever be complete without your kiss and i'm sinking fast and sure into the broken-girl abyss.
