Nuttymoo Posted August 13, 2006 Report Share Posted August 13, 2006 Hi Ali,When i read you post i thought that pregablin was similar to Gabapetin, how come they are taking you off the Gabapetin that is quite a commonly used drug. I was unable to locate any info on the Pregablin in the BNF, it probably has another name which you are not aware of which is listed in the BNF.I am sorry things are so tough for you at the moment and as i don't know much about your problems it is hard to comment, plus i am no medical epxert your doctor obviously knows what he is doing. As for the IV LIGNACAINE, i thought this was a local anaesthesic or thats what i got from my BNF as i had heard of it but it is not something i am familiar with, however Pip knows more about meds than me. I am not sure what your health issues are though in order to comment anymore, plus i am also aware that your doctor know what they are doing. Maybe you should talk to your doctor about it all.
