I Tell You That I Am Fine

I tell you that I am fine and I am not!

I want to tell you about the horrors and

the hell that I am going through, but

I cant let you know, you cant see

my secrets or my pain because

then I will have to own it. Instead

I will keep it locked up deep

inside the chasms of my fortitude,

and I will throw away the key.

Never to reveal my true self,

the one that hurts and is

in pain and cries out for

understanding but knows

that no one understands

because she doesn’t understand

it herself, but she cries anyway

I wrote that on a break at work, it took me about 3 minutes. There were no scribblings out, it flowed freely. Someone had pissed me off and I wasnt in a good mood. I felt better after writing it.
