Hi

I wrote this poem for you, I know you don't want to hear from me right now and that you are depressed but its for you and you alone

A POEM TO A LOST FRIEND

When I met you in this place

You gave me time and some space

You held my hand and listened to me

You let me be who I wanted to be

You gave me love and you’re self

I finally felt that I had wealth

You saw the pain inside my heart

You didn’t think I was a tart

Now you’re gone it’s dark once more

The light has walked out of the door

I see you here from time to time

But now I know you can’t be mine

I’m all alone in here again

With you gone I feel the pain

I wished too much for my self

I over used and abused my wealth

I hope one day you’ll come back

And we’ll be friends but not in the sack

I miss your open giving ways

You brought me light in solid rays

Take care of your self, you are in my heart and thoughts

I am trying to learn from this experience, I made a mistake and I am prepared to be open and honest about it, but at the same time I am trying not to let it get me down to much (although loosing a freind is always hard).

I am also learning that there are so many supportive people on this site and I really enjoyed chatting to you last night, so whatever the outcome of this issue, I know that there are other people who are there to support me, it may just take me a while to get close again because I do not want to repeat that mistake.
