pinklady66
I was at my doctor's today. I told him of my erratic mood swings and how they are driving me up a wall. He didn't say that I'm bipolar. I was just wondering if anyone out there is taking lithium that has bpd. Weird eh?
paddypotty
My dad was bipolar,he took lithium for yers,I suppose its possible to have a combination of both bipolar and bpd, maybe and if its not too scary(it was for me) you should ask doc exactly what he thinks your diagnosis is. Good Luck.

LadyMacbeth
I do not think its available in the UK yet but there is some sort of Lithium sold over the counter that claims to have no side effects and is supposed to be just as effective as the prescription kind for treating mood swings and bi-polar. I found that out after finding it in the natural supplement shop.
