But here goes anyway Photos of my life, forced to feel again.Reliving every moment, causes only pain.Window to a memory, or window to desire?I know not right from wrong, while looking to expire.Sitting face to face, with my once younger self.Tearing down my heart, as I hear his cries for help.Though I can offer nothing, as time has passed me by.Connection still remains, through gazing childhood eyes.Photos of my life, canvas for a time.For that I can't control, believe me now I've tried.Secrets of a passion, hidden out of view.Fear of discovery, tears me into two.Part of me is willing, the other wants to die.Without a certain pathway, I'll never reach my sky.I wish I could go back, to when it all began.To give myself a chance, to be a different man.Photos of my life, what will they become?So many I've destroyed, so many more to come.I use them not for good, the evil takes control.I battle with myself, in attempt to save my soul.But struggle comes to end, it beats me once again.Outside I cast a smirk, inside I feel the pain.I sit there in the silence, as I begin to count.Adding to my total, of a shameful amount.Photos of my life, forced to feel again.I find myself repeating, all sounds the same.Once a happy memory, a picture now defaced.I stole away the innocence, that cannot be replaced.Everytime I feel it, it bubbles to the top.The boy inside my screen, calls for me to stop.I really should be listening, afterall that boy is me.But I have no control, it attacks me too you see?Photos of my life, imagine if you can.Please keep an open mind, I'm not what you think I am.Peace, Lance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
