I never married the man and don't have a romantic relationship with him but I did learn to have a friendly relationship without a lot of expectations on my part. We talk about every six weeks, or so and we always enjoy our little contact. I'm back here now because I am back in another romantic relationship with a bpd that I had no contact with for three years because it ended so so so badly. I know that we can never live together, so our future is limited, but I just don't want to let this one go entirely, for today. I'll be using this support line for as long as I am involved.
