My P doc told me that coming off mood stabilizers (lithium) would be nothing like coming of an Anti D....... im afraid hes wrong.

down from 1250mg to 750mg and its only gonna get worse :(

hi, im also sorry you're going thru a rough time due to meds.

there is so much drs dont give us the full story on.

they lie, they are influenced by drug companies, and are often quite uncaring.

but i understand- having been thrown off my clinic a few yrs ago while on xanax, dalmane, largactil, seroquel and effexor. for being 'cheeky' to the dr.

i had the most dreadful few days and ended up back in a&e after benzo fitting.

so my heart goes out to anyone who is having a hard time with their meds- its bad enuff to have this illness...

i hope you feel better soon, take care

peace

I did speak to my T yesterday through email and as of yesterday most of them are away on a 3 day conference.

They have also just moved to a new building and have 21 interview rooms between 50 something Pdocs and T's that they need to book etc.

They used to have their old offices so now appointments are a shambles :(

She knows im not doing well and said she would have a word with my P doc.

Hope she remembers
