I have read some people have trouble from it after a while.I have previously wondered about drug holidays anyway.Who has experience of drug holidays, whether from gabapentin or anything else?It might be good if I can plan ahead for a short break from it to bring in a good "second-best" regime till it's time to go back onto the gabbers again.Did you find a benefit from a break? Tray Posted October 22, 2008 Report Share Posted October 22, 2008 i had a meds holiday after a reaction to prozac... and i must say i didnt like it!i just feel better when i am on anti-d's, and it really affected me, but i did have to stop sudden after 6 months on prozac, so had some withdrawel as well. after that i started serequel, but after a month on it i found i was pregnant so had to stop that sudden as well, and then had another holiday for 3 months, and am now on sertraline. have been on it bout month, and still waiting for it to kick in proper.i think its good to take a break, but you need to do it slowely and under guidence.
