Good technique for ptsd when you have flashbacks or in major bpd thought mode-paranoia, etc can calm substance cravings too. Pick a category of things and make a list of those types of things. dogs, jazz musicians, balls, bugs, etc. It helps your mind focus on one thing and not be all over and tends to relieve my flashbacks for a little while at least.

fly

bee

hornet

wasp

yellowjacket

computer bugs :P

locust
