Miko Posted January 15, 2009 Report Share Posted January 15, 2009 I reached for my remaining stock of 10mg amitriptyline (supplied for pain from my M.E) and have been taking three or four of them a day these last two days.I phoned the surgery and the duty doctor phoned me back & has now left a prescription for some more at the counter. I'll be seeing my usual GP next week, he wanted me to hold out a bit longer but I expect he'll be Ok about it really.Depression seems to flare up early on in the week each week, it's only sensible to take something to keep it under control, I have had so many bad Januaries over the years, I still feel sad now but I am giving my mood stabilisers-anticonvulsants a chance to help me.
