Medications?

I have a prescription for BuSpar, that's supposed to help treat my anxiety. I haven't filled it yet.

I also have another prescription for GABA coming up for a month after I start taking BuSpar. I am incredibly suspicious of psychiatric medicine. I've been on a lot of medications, and the SSRIs are such an awful experience that I look cross-eyed at all of them.

I try to get information on these drugs before I try them out. BuSpar doesn't look too bad, so far, and I think i'll give it a shot.

It's the GABA that puzzles me. So far I can't find any information about its use in the treatment of BPD - and so far all I have found are some wild claims that it stimulates your brain into producing Human Growth Hormone, which plays a part in preventing aging. But the psychiatrist went straight to instructions on how to start me taking GABA after my BuSpar dose has stabilized and how it's affecting me.

Does anyone know anything about using GABA as a treatment in BPD?
