No matter how many times I listen to this song it still means everything to me. The lyrics, the expert piano playing - it just talks to me and echoes my feelings of depression. I would substitute the word 'girl' for 'pain' and the whole song would be about something different.

right now Im not sure I could pinpoint the positives

But the desperation is ever clear

i love that song and can really identify with the lyrics, i agree with your lyric change from girl to pain, really makes it even more powerful. thanks for reminding me off this.
