Miko
Hi, on my last few boxes of meds plus the last few green prescription forms after the phrase "take [so much] daily" is a phrase "for [name of illness or symptom or area of health]"I think the doctor writes it but he didn't use to at one time.Do you know any background to this?I think it would be good to input into this to make it most useful. Lily-Bee
Im guessing its just a a changed way of labelling, like here in my country they started to add how much it costs eventhough I do not have to pay for it but they want people to be aware of how much their meds are maybe to appriciate it more or something.Maybe with the writing down what it is given for is also for you to be more aware or for when you see other docs or they see your file that it is clear to them right away why you take certain meds.I am just guessing here.Lilly
Tray
hi, i use to work for the precription place, they are changing the way pharmasists are paid, and its going computerised, so the way the scripts are done are being changed. it just helps the computer 'read' the script and if it cant price the drug, helps the person who reads it determine the price to give.
