"wonderful" by everclear has been a favourite of mine, lyric wise for years. although the words sound a bit heavy, it is a great song with a cool tune and i find that singing along to it when im driving actually gives me an outlet to say what i feel - and a few odd looks at the traffic lights!! lol!!

glad you like them dani - most of everclears earlier songs contain simple words, powerfully written. most of the tracks are on you tube too - check out "normal like you", "sunflowers" and "thrift store chair" gotta say that "travelling with HS" sounds a great track and im off to check it out now!

i will confess though, that as far as my extremely diverse tastes are concerned, the one song guaranteed to cheer me up and make me smile is "disco duck"!!

i just wanted to put in my 2 cents, because there is one particular song that has gotten me through a lot of hard times over the past year. it's not really a love song, but the lyrics are, to me personally, so meaningful, because the sky has always been such a strong symbol of escape for me- staring up into the clouds gives me such an overwhelming feeling of peace, and it's the place my mind always returns to when i need release and solitude.

I know no one will probably agree with my taste in music but these lyrics mean a lot to me still becasue I freestyle a lot when I'm by myself (I used to be an MC) and I feel I can express all my feelings in verse.
