Do you even know:

The way i laugh till i cry...

That i blush when we talk cos i get shy.

Do you know what makes me feel happy and alive at all?

the way you make my heart beat faster but i ignore it incase i fall.

Have you seen the look in my eyes when i try to get my own way?

that my nose wrinkles up with laughter at some of the things that you say.

Do you know how i hurt inside and some nights i cry?

of course you don't..how could you...and why?

you have no idea how broken my heart is yet it beats faster for you...

i know i'm a fool to trust after what ive been through.

Do you know how i look when im mad?

how i deal with life when i'm sad?

Do i cut or do i cry?

you don't even know so i ask myself why?

You know what i allow you to see...

does that make it my fault...is it me?

i may as well dissapear...

its not like you will ever wipe away my tears.

Do you not know me at all...i don't think you do.

I'm beginning to realise i put my feelings at risk everytime i grow closer to you.

really like it. there are so many things that i tend to think people (close people) should see or know, but its hard when i put the mask on and only let them see what i want them to. it still hurts when they dont see though.

i have probably got the intention behind the words wrong, but its what they made me think of in myself

Guru of descriptive prose, Dani. As I read through, I could "taste" the feelings, picture the emotions on your face(pretty bizarre, considering we've never met). I'm going to have to figure out a way to describe the visual image this provokes within me. very inspirational. Thanks for sharing.

Its very hard to be around someone, when you are aware that person does not know you. I know the feeling very well!

I also know about opening up to people and getting hurt.

I think that there is a sorta shallow popular fallacy that what you need to do is pour your heart out and people will see inside you and accept you. Unfortunately some people don't like what they see.

I cant pour my heart out really ...though it depends on who im pouring it out to and whether they actually wanna listen.
