Paula Posted March 11, 2005 Report Share Posted March 11, 2005 it can take a while for the side effects to settle down if you are starting on a new drug. i have been on venlafaxine before and it can make you feel quite anxious to start with. side effects normally settle within a few weeks, and you should regain a normal sleeping pattern :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
kazzapants Posted March 11, 2005 Report Share Posted March 11, 2005 hiya never been on efexor, but was on trazadone and that makes you really drowsy, so like pinky says, it is probably the change in medication which will wear off.
