Currently I will be looking for new members for the peer support team. There are 6 openings available - let me know if you would like to give back to the forum. CharcoalKiss Posted September 23, 2009 Report Share Posted September 23, 2009 Hey March, I applied nearly a year ago to do the Support Worker job for the site, and it didn't happen... not sure why as i was "employed" as a volunteer and given the link... guess i fell of the system during the site changes or something. lol. Peer Supporter is working on the Live Crisis Support link on the site... right? Is there training involved? I'll do it anyway, if there are places available... i just wondered if there would be training. Thanks for any consideration given... stinkyboy Posted November 3, 2009 Report Share Posted November 3, 2009 Well, i'm in a absolutely horrible place right now in just about every area of my life, but i still have hope, albeit not very much, that life can get better. Especially for other people. I just have a hard time seeing that happening for myself. Having said all that, i've been told by many people in my life both past and present that i have a gift when it comes to encouraging people. I am also a very compassionate person.
