For each of you, my chosen friends

At this time, the year it ends

I wish and hope and pray for you

for joy and happiness that's true

I hope this year brings love and care

and a life that is easier for you to bare

I pray that we'll all stay close

and share achievements in large dose

that we find something we can hold

and confidence that makes us bold

I'd like to think that we can be

more this year for all to see

I hope we all can learn to accept

to let go of all the tears we've wept

and reach out for a kind hand

that leads us to a better land

these things I ask for all of you

because I really care, I do!

and so I'll finish with fare well

because good bye I can not tell

I'll see you all very soon
