I am trying to get into the chat room but it looks like I have to introduce myself here first. My name's Jo. I'm 26 and I live in London. I'd like to know if there's anyone else with BPD in London. I only know one other person who I think has it and he's the only person in the world who I understand. I was so happy when I first read a definition of BPD because I had been trying for years to work out what was wrong with me and whether I was the only one. I'd been reading Psychology textbooks since I was 11, partly for this reason and partly because of a general interest in Psychology. Now I'm doing a degree in it. I want to do a doctorate eventually and then do research. Of course, nobody believes I will see it through. I think I'll try the chat room now.
