sanctuary Posted February 27, 2010 Report Share Posted February 27, 2010 When all you want is someone close Who really knows your pain To recognise and validate The feelings that you claim It starts as a survival need And ends up like a drug The years of rotten childhood Spent reaching for a hug We know that time and therapy Can help us to get well But we need you to see it through Coz only time will tell The fear of the abandonment Is so hard to explain It's something that we have to learn To cope with through the pain A stigma that we have to bear This waste bin diagnosis Yet in it's traits we see ourselves And know it's not a hoax Please someone come and care for me And give me what I need I really need your loving now To help me to succeed My trust has gone I'm all alone And frightened like a child Coz when you said you'd help me through I etched that promise in my mind So please don't leave me desolate Abandoned once again I cannot take another day Of this - this awful pain Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
