thesloaneranger Posted May 24, 2010 Report Share Posted May 24, 2010 on saturday, i went out on the town with my bezzie mate.....this was my 1st "proper" night out in almost 18 months!!!! maybe not a big deal for some i guess, but it was a huge step for me. we started out at an 80s night one of friends had organised. it was a charity evening for a MH-issues theatre group, and although very few peeps know about me, i felt it was an important night to go to and not squirm out of....i was so glad i went because there were loads of people there id not seen since id left school 12 years ago as well as people i could relate to. so i shook my tailfeather and had a great night....we were turfed out at 1am tho, so i suggested to my mate we go to the casino as we werent dressed for a club and it was too early to go home. i taught her how to play blackjack, and we watched the sun rise over the river clyde from the balcony with a couple of drinks which was great! we got home shortly before 7am, and whilst my hubby made us brekkie, i got my bass out and had a wee strum and the party continued! lmao! finally fell into bed around 8am.......the best 12 hours ive had in months, so i thought id just share it with you.....every day is still greeted with fear, but im getting there! me and my best mate Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Air guitar, gambling, sunrise, bass and a prepared morning supper is about as good a night out as you can get.
