Crisis Team?

Winds me up like nothing else that when I join forums that everyone talks about a crisis team! Because north wales ( denbighshire) do not have one...well they do but they do not consider BPD to be a severe mental illness i.e bipolar and schizophrenia so I can't benefit from it. The only way I can seek help is thru going to out of hours stupid fking surgery!! Like they understand where im coming from!! Denbighshire is not fit for people with my illness . Sooner or later it'll all be over and they'll be like " we should of helped her when she asked for help. its too late now..o well one less patient to worry about" sorry ranting just had to get it out!!

sorry crisis team wont support you, as far as i was aware, bpd, is a recognised mh illness, and they treated me even before i had a dx other than anxiety and depression.

Thanks for the reply toastie :)

I hope services in north wales are better for you than they are and have been for me

Would be interested to know what part of north wales you are in

As in denbighshire they have North denbighshire survivors network which is for people with mental illnesses socialising etc.
