bored-a-line
hi, i've been doing shit jobs all my life to pay the bills and that. only this week did i have a strategy to keep anxiety and depression at bay whilst working at demeaning/ humiliating/ positions that chip away at your confidence and self worth. i went into work with the intention of BEING Mary Poppins. because everyone knows mary poppins can do everything and everyone loves her. so.. think MARY POPPINS. you can also enjoy paradying mary poppins whilst noone else has a clue that its a joke and this can help keep depression away. i thought it was hilarious and suddenly everyone loved me..it was amazing. and i didnt feel like i was supressing myself because i was having a laugh at the whole work system whilst pretending to be a victorian nanny. sorry if this post scares you a bit..i honestly think this strategy might help pull you out of a bad time one day. :D
