So i didn't have to create an account I searched for "new york times marsha linehan" and the article which was brilliant , came up. Here is the url I accessed i at, (dunno if it will work) http://www.nytimes.com/2011/06/23/health/23lives.html?pagewanted=all or just search he above terms in google. Elke Posted March 24, 2012 Author Report Share Posted March 24, 2012 One thing that stands out with M. Linehans experience, is the one she had in the chapel. She said "I love myself". She said it was the first time she spoke the word " I ". Meaning herself. Meaning she "found" herself. I dont believe in God (unfortunately). She has had a lucky experience through her belief. A wonderful thing happened to her after all those horrible things she went through. Now she is teaching DBT. But the key experience....I dont think DBT can convey it. Or???
