LastResort
Hello, I posted in the intro section and was advise to come here for help. I don't want to come across as if we have done an armchair diagnosis. My younger sister was the first to alert me to the possibility our father may have BPD. We've had a strained relationship for years and it's blown up again recently. I'd really like to find a therapist in the West Midlands, Shropshire or Staffordshire who specialises in BPD so I can get help on how to cope with the attacks from him and if they think he might have BPD then to raise it with him hopefuly to get him help. starryeyesee
Hi and welcome to the forums Have you thought about going to your gp and asking for referrals to plces that deal with BPD.. Maybe you could also print off some stuff from here about the symptons of BPD also google has lot of info but beware of some sites as they aren't too nice about us BPD people and see us merely as manipulative and attention seeking. There is a lot more to this illness than that. wikepedia has a good description hope this helps starry x
