Searching for something that never existed, I just gave up hope when I should have persisted. Being a mum and being just me.. Allowed me to be who I wanted to be. Loving myself isn't selfish,hurtful or vain.. Loving me just helps me to be who I was once again. Finally its happened without the need of a man, Finally I'm just me living the best way I can. I don't need to fantasize about a world which doesn't exist, Or dream about a life that I sadly had missed. Yes I lost my father,yes I caused me pain, Yes I hurt myself over and over again. I wanted to die,to just disapear, But now I'm so greatful that I finally made it hear. Its taken so long but I finally reached the beginning.. The start of my life...the start of me winning.' The most important relationship you'll ever have, is the one with yourself. It has/is a long and difficult journey,but sometimes like now you actually RECOGNISE the goodness in yourself,the decency,the integrity,the courage- oh, the courage,but most of all . . . . . . . the LOVE! Here's a quote I found immeasurably helpful: "In order to love oneself,one must behave in ways one can admire". And for THIS DAY, I admire the hell out of myself!
