mamalou
Hi, I am just about to start Lithium and am feeling a bit numb about adding it into my drug cocktail ! I currently take 225mg Venlafaxine + 150mg Quetiapine + 50mg Lamotrogine I seem to have "treatment resistant depression" and I have been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder too. It's all falling apart around my ears and now with the Lithium I am anxious about side effects etc..... Anyone got any experiences to share ?? Thanks lots x x
Roses
It worked and I was on it for 4 years but in the end the side effects weren't what I wanted to deal with for long term use so I stopped and switched to depakote which I find easier to take and I don't have the unquenchable thirst either. But everyone's experience and everyone's body is different so my advise is to give anything a try once as it might just be the one that works for you. Also, I used to be on a right cocktail and now I am only on a mood stabiliser, anti-psychotic and a sleeper. A Pdoc I was under advised me to ditch the anti-depressant and anti-anxiety drugs as I was on just too much. Perhaps mention it to your doctor and see what they advise for you xxx
