Daily Moral Inventory

Hello :)

This year, I've given up gambling and have not had a bet for 2758 hours at the time of writing this post. If I'm not mistaken, this is pretty much the longest I've gone without a bet in my entire adult life. There have been several contributing factors to this, the main one being that if I want to visit my fiancée, I can't afford to gamble. But I've also become a member of GA (gamblers anonymous) and for all that I find much of the concept hackneyed, there are some bits I've found useful. The daily moral inventory I'm about to share being one of them.

Of course, many will find this a tad too simplistic and or preachy (I can too) but perhaps some of it will offer a touch of clarity or at least some food for thought. If this (or something similar) has been posted in the past then I apologise in advance but it won't do any harm to have it out again :)

I suppose the thread was more about the latter bit than the former bit but still, I'm grateful for the kudos-es :)

2767 hours down, ∞ hours to go.

Thanks Catsmother, Growly Cat and fedup :) :) :)
