lucyloo Posted July 14, 2012 Report Share Posted July 14, 2012 last year, I was awarded low rate dla, which felt like a slap in the face. after almost a year or nonsense from the dwp, conflicting advice information etc and them closing down my appeal at the beginning of the week, I woke today, to find a letter awarding me middle rate! I am so pleased I could cry! for all of you who are going through this right now, keep at it, keep your chin up! It will come right in the end. lucyloo Posted July 14, 2012 Author Report Share Posted July 14, 2012 it is good news emma. :-) but it looks like I won't get the disability premium, even though my sons are dependant on me, as jsa is low for under 25s, they can't afford to pay their way, so are dependants, but for the purpose of benefits, they seem to be non dependants!
