AmyP Posted September 3, 2012 Report Share Posted September 3, 2012 atm im reducing venlafaxine so can come off it. have gone from 150mg to 75. since the reduction it feels like ive gone downhill. im more depressed, more easily angry, a lot harder to control temper, have sh for first time in months, no sex drive i mean i wasnt great before it but it does seem to have gotten worse. is it possible that it could be symptoms of reducing the meds? side effects maybe rather than the fact they were helping me more than i realised when i was on them it didnt feel like they were doing anything and i dont like having to take them which is why im coming off them Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Maddison Posted September 3, 2012 Report Share Posted September 3, 2012 I think you should talk to a doctor hunni but in my experience of taking anti depressants for 20 odd years it sounds like maybe you were getting some help from the tablets and you've dropped lower.
